The Purple Line is transit that hurts transit, according to Frank Lysy, a former Chief Economist of the World Bank Group (www.aneconomicsense.org.) and an expert in the lawsuit by Friends of the Capital Crescent Trail in which the federal court, on August 3, 2016, ordered suspension of the Purple Line pending further review.
